In an effort to alert spring breakers vacationing abroad of potential dangers, the U.S. Department of State launched a social media campaign, reports ABC News.
Using #SpringBreakingBadly, they offered a great deal of good advice, but one tweet was poorly received.
It read, “Not a ‘10’ in the US? Then not a 10 overseas. Beware of being lured into buying expensive drinks or worse – being robbed.”
