Kolkata, Mar 31 (ANI): West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Thursday arrived at the scene where a portion of an under-construction flyover collapsed in North Kolkata's Girish Park area to take stock of the rescue operations. At least 14 people were so far killed and 78 other injured in the incident that took place in the afternoon. Locals present on the scene claimed that nearly 300 people have been trapped under debris of the collapsed bridge. Police, fire brigade, disaster management personnel, National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), and army personnel have been pressed into rescue operations.
