New Delhi, Mar 31 (ANI): Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh on Thursday condoled the loss of lives of people due to collapse of an under-construction bridge in Kolkata. “Deeply saddened to know that precious lives have been lost in the Kolkata accident. My heartfelt condolences to the families of the deceased,” Singh said in a tweet. Singh further said that he has spoken to O. P. Singh, Director General of National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) and said that he has been apprised of the situation at the accident site. Singh added in a tweet "NDRF teams have been rushed to the spot for rescue ops." Rescue operation is currently underway to recover the people stuck under the debris.
