Mammootty starrer Pathemari won the Best Malayalam Film
award at the 63rd National Film Awards that was announced this
(28th March) morning through a press meet.This film was a Salim Ahamed directorial which showcased the life of Pallikkal Narayanan, who migrated to the Middle-East in the early 1960s, when the Kerala Gulf boom just started to begin.
