Photorealist landscapes of videogames

Originating from Stockholm in Sweden, an artist called Rens, carried out sumptuous photo-realistic landscapes entirely in 3D, thanks to the graphic engine of video game Unreal Engine 4. The details and textures of these very-realistic landscapes could make you believe that it is about a video, but it's not, Rens adopted the method of “scanning” or “photogrammetry”, of the techniques already used to create the incredible landscapes of the video game Star Wars Battlefront.

With the years, the methods improve, and textures are increasingly realistic, this video shows us what will be possible to see in our video games in only a few years.
