New Delhi, Mar 29 (ANI): After a meeting with Home Minister Rajnath Singh on Andhra Pradesh-Telangana Reorganisation Act, Union Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Venkaiah Naidu on Tuesday said the problem lies in the act itself. The act clearly states that subject to the provisions contained in the Article 170 of the Indian Constitution and without prejudice to section 15 of this act, the number of seats in the Legislative Assembly of the successive states of AP and Telangana shall be increased from 175 and from 190 to 225 and 153, respectively. Naidu added that the main problem stated that subject to Article 170, the Legislative Assembly of each state shall consist of not more than 500 and not more than 60 members. The Union Minister for Parliamentary Affairs said the issue is still being discussed.
