Salford Red Devils heaped further misery on bottom club Hudpuf sfield Giants by winning a see-saw encounter 26-24 at the John Smith's Stadium.
The lead changed hands six times with the result leaving the Giants having won just once this season.
Huddersfield made the early running with Eorl Crabtree, Craig Huby, Jake Connor and Kyle Wood each going within inches of scoring, but the visitors went ahead when Craig Kopczak charged onto a Junior Sau pass and dived over.
Danny Brough fed Ukuma Ta'ai at speed and the big Tongan forward barged his way over, Brough nudging the Giants in front with the subsequent kick.
Their lead didn't last long as a high Michael Dobson bomb was allowed to bounce and it was palmed back for Gareth O'Brien to cross unopposed.
A teasing Brough kick, which Josh Griffin completely missed, allowed Connor the simplest task of running in his fifth try of the season.

Salford struck first after the break when Caton-Brown raced clear and Griffin was on hand.
The Giants hit back when Jermaine McGillvary crossed in the corner and Brough tied matters from the touchline.
Three minutes later Brough's vision sent Ta'ai through again to put Huddersfield in front for the third time.
Salford kept the pendulum swinging with two tries in as many minutes - Justin Carney going over in one corner then Niall Evalds in the other - and they held on over the last nine minutes.
Salford coach Ian Watson said: "It was a great response to a defeat on Friday and we spoke in depth about what we needed to do after that game.
"We pride ourselves on our defence and the mentality of the guys to stick in there today when it got tough and come through the other side.
"The Easter period is tough, backing up with two games in four days
"We have a good group of players who have belief in what they do and the conditioning they have done pre-season."

Huddersfieldboss Paul Anderson refused to be too downhearted after a game where they savoured the majority of the possession, especially in the first half.
"We were way better than we were Friday but our defence is costing us," saidAnderson.
"We have to stop missing one-on-one tackles and cut the individual errors out.
"The offence is not quite firing but we still scored 24 points which is enough to win games.
"I feel under pressure because I put it on myself and I'm not comfortable losing games - it's not something I'm used to.
"If we can cut out the mistakes and put in the same effort and take some of the opportunities we are creating we will get there."
