Nepal, Mar 28 (ANI): A five-month long agitation in the Southern Terai region of Nepal has not brought any positive result for the Madhesis, whose demands have still not been met. Madhesi leaders have resolved to resume agitations next month to bring the government to the negotiating table to discuss their 11-point demand list, which they want to be accommodated in the newly-formed constitution of Nepal adopted in September last year. Madhesi demands include demarcation of provinces, fixing of electoral constituencies on the basis of population, and proportional representation in the new constitution.
