Rameswaram, Mar 28 (ANI): The Fishermen’s Association in Tamil Nadu has squarely blamed the Indian government and the Tamil Nadu state government for not acting effectively in preventing the arrest of fishermen by the Sri Lankan authorities. The president of the Paman Fishermen’s Association, M Betric, also said that he did not expect any action to be taken in next two months as Tamil Nadu is facing assembly polls. The South Asian rivals frequently arrest each other’s fishermen on charges of encroachment of waters.
