New Delhi, Mar 28 (ANI): President Pranab Mukherjee presented the Padma awards in New Delhi on Monday. The annual ceremony was held at the Rashtrapati Bhavan and was attended by Vice President Hamid Ansari, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, BJP veteran leader L K Advani, Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan and members of the union cabinet, besides other dignitaries. The President presented five Padma Vibhushan, eight Padma Bhushan and 43 Padma Shri awards at the function.
