Hey music fans, welcome back to ClevverMusic. J.Lo and Mr. Worldwide kicked off the 10th annual Latin award show held at the Bank United Center in Miami last night! Jennifer opened the performance coming down from the ceiling in a jungle bird cage and then performed a medley of her hits starting with "On the Floor" wearing a revealing black lace body suit. The song wouldnt be complete without her favorite collaborator Pitbull by her side (in a pink blazer of course) and dozens of sexy backup dancers. Following that song, Pitbull kept the good times going performing his hit "Dont Stop the Party" while Jennifer changed backstage into a gold onesie to perform "Dance Again". Thats when J.Lo and Pitbull got in some choreographed dancing together and it was pretty cute. Finally, the duo transitioned into their current single, "Live It Up" and thats where the shirtless male dancers came out and they ended with a bang. And a splash. The two jumped into a swimming pool hidden under the stage to end cap off their opening performance! Bananas! Nice to see the legendary J.Lo have some fun! And speaking of icons, Jennifer also stole the night when she took home the World Icon award for her role in entertainment. Upon receiving the award she was tearful for about a minute before she was able to give her acceptance speech. Her touching words included, "When I see all these images and you beautiful faces, I feel very fortunate to be here tonight. What I have always wanted to do with my life is to create, sing, dance, act and entertain; and be a good person... I accept this award with a lot of humility and I am enormously grateful." Nice to see someone as big as Jennifer be so humble, right?. J.Lo also won "Actress Who Steals the Screen" award at the show that night.
