Ludhiana, Mar 26 (ANI): The jewellers in Punjab’s Ludhiana city on Saturday staged a protest against the Centre Government’s proposal of one percent excise duty on gold items. The protestors raised slogans against Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley for not paying attention to their problems. One of the protestors accused the ruling dispensation at the Centre of being unfair to the jewellers association of the country and warned that the protests would continue till their grievances are not addressed.
