Chennai: Congress, DMK discuss election strategy for poll-bound TN

Chennai, Mar 25 (ANI): Senior Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Azad on Friday held a meeting with Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) chief M. Karunanidhi to discuss seat sharing between the two parties for the upcoming Tamil Nadu Assembly elections in Chennai on Friday. After the meeting, Azad said both the parties discussed election strategy, adding that the number of seats the parties will contest have not been finalised yet. The state, which has 234 assembly seats, will vote in a single phase on May 16, while the results will be announced on May 19.
