Vijayawada, Mar 25 (ANI): In a scathing attack on the BJP-led NDA Government in Andhra Pradesh's Vijayawada yesterday, Jawaharlal Nehru University students' union president Kanhaiya Kumar demanded that the Centre should pass the Rohith Vemula Act as soon as possible. The act aims to abolish casteism and economic inequalities within educational institutions. 26-year old Dalit student Rohith Vemula had hanged himself in the varsity campus in January following suspension for allegedly attacking an ABVP leader.
