State dinners in the United States can be fun affairs but in Argentina, you'd better come ready to cut a rug, as President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama learned on Wednesday night.n Argentina for an official state visit, on the heels of their historic visit to Cuba, Obama bonded with Argentine President Mauricio Macri, who took office in December. But the big moment of the night, during the state dinner in Buenos Aires, came after a pair of dancers finished performing for the group and tried to coax the Obamas to the dance floor. Though the president first waved off the advances, the dancers persisted and both Obamas made it to the dance floor for a quick tango spin. No one fell, which is enough of a triumph, but (as usual) the First Lady performed the dance moves better than her husband.
