Dimapur, Mar 24 (ANI): Under the theme of 'Xchange'a 3-day long Northeast Youth NGO Summit'was organized in Dimapur. More than 15 NGOs from northeast states participated in the event. It was organized by Dimapur based NGO Community Avenue Network (CAN), with an aim to provide a forum to young NGO leaders to discuss current challenges in the society.The summit also aims to connect major youth leadership development organizations in a substantive "open space" conversation, to mobilize youth of the region. Various organizations like 'Can Youth Community Avenue Network', Full Life Access Trust took part in the summit. During the meet, youth activists also shared their experiences in order to strengthen the network amongst the NGOs and inspire youth to come up with more initiatives for the upliftment of the socio-economic condition of the society. Such initiatives will go a long way in helping promote excellence of emerging NGOs in the Northeast and encourage young activists to work for the development of the society.
