Spotify is not showing any signs of slowing down – despite new competition from the likes of TIDAL and Apple Music.
Founder Daniel Ek has revealed his hugely-popular music streaming service now boasts an impressive 30 million paid subscribers.
That's an increase of 10 million paid customers compared to June 2015, and some 20 million more than 2014.
During the same period, Apple Music picked up 11 million paid subscribers.
Apple Music will likely get some big new features in September, when the US firm rolls out its latest operating system update, iOS 10.
Spotify recently tried to tempt customers to upgrade to paid subscriptions with a free ChromeCast.
Spotify sees growth only continuing, rather than slowing down, and feels that exclusives – such as Kanye’s new Life of Pablo on TIDAL – aren’t really doing that much to entice people away from the service.
