Hey everyone, welcome back to Clevver Music. This years European Music Award nominations have finally been released and we got all the deets just for you. Our mother monster, Lady Gaga got an impressive 4 nominations including Best Female, Best Video for "Applause," Best Look, and Biggest Fans. Yeah Little Monsters! And despite her VMA performance controversy, Miley Cyrus also got 4 nods for Best Pop, Best Female, Best US Act, and Best Video for new song "Wrecking Ball." Maybe we over-reacted about the whole hammer licking thing? These two ladies will have to beat out each other along with Katy Perry, Selena Gomez, and T. Swift in order to secure the Best Female award. And they will both have to go up against Robin Thicke, Justin Timberlake, and Thirty Seconds to Mars for Best Video. The artists with the most nomsat this years awards are Justin Timberlake and Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, each with 5 nods. Along with Best Video for "Mirrors," JT is also up for Best Male artist, Best Live, Best US Act, and Best look. And re-watching Justins recent VMA performance, its no wonder hes racking up the nominations! While EMA new-comers Macklemore & Ryan Lewis are up for Best Hip Hop, Best New, Best Song, Best US Act, and Best World Stage. Other artists with 3 nods are T-Swift, One Direction, and Bruno Mars. While Katy Perry, Rihanna, and Jay-Z are up for 2 awards. The list of presenters and performances has yet to be released but we cant wait to see who will try to out-do Mileys VMA performance?!
