NEW YORK — The son of Republican-front runner Donald Trump, Eric Trump, received a threatening letter that contained mysterious powder on Thursday evening.

The threatening letter was mailed to Eric's luxurious home at 100 Central Park South in New York from a post office in Boston.

His wife, Lara Trump opened the envelope at around 7:15 p.m. and found a mysterious white powder.

The envelope allegedly contained a handwritten note that reads "if your father does not drop out of the race the next envelope won't be a fake." It was signed with an "X."

Meanwhile, the white powder was tested and appears to be a lemonade mix.

New York Police Department's Emergency Service Unit, the Office of Emergency Management and the U.S. Secret Service were called to the scene.
