New Delhi, Mar 19 (ANI): Addressing the gathering at the ‘Krishi Unnati Mela’ in the national capital on Saturday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday said the ongoing ‘Krishi Unnati Mela’ would bring a change in the lives of the farmers, adding that the second agricultural revolution would be based on science, technology and modern inventions. He added that for the first time a pro-farmers budget had been decided for the upliftment of the farmers. Modi added that initiative must be taken to save and make optimum use of water through drip irrigation and other mediums to improve the agriculture. PM Modi concluded by saying that the government has initiated a ‘Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana’, which is a pro-farmer scheme.
