Family of Madhesi activist gunned down by police awaits government help

Nepal, Mar 18 (ANI): Sohan Sah Kalwar, a Madhesi activist was killed by Nepal Police in September last year while he was at his home. He is survived by his wife Binita Devi and two children. The compensation of Rs 10 Lakh announced by the government has not been of much help to the family. Binita Devi demands that the government take responsibility of her children. Around 55 people were killed in the Madhesi agitation that began in September last year. The families of those killed claims the government has done little to help them.
