New Delhi, Mar 16 (ANI): In a major revelation, former undersecretary for internal security at the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) R.V.S. Mani has said that he had filed the first affidavit based on facts in the Ishrat Jahan case, adding that he does not know the cause of the second one being filed. Critising former finance minister P. Chidambaram, Mani said if he recollects his own words he exactly said that, “I have amended it”. Mani added that he was not involved in drafting of the second affidavit at all. Earlier, former union finance minister P. Chidambaram had said that he only made ‘editorial’ changes in the affidavit as it is a compulsive habit with lawyers like him.
