Mumbai, Mar 15 (ANI): Breaking his silence over the Ishrat Jahan case, former Union Finance Minister P. Chidambaram said that he only made 'editorial' changes in the affidavit as is a compulsive habit with lawyers like him. He added that it had been clearly stated that the first affidavit in the Ishrat Jahan case was completely misinterpreted and the second affidavit justified the same. Incidentally, the second affidavit is the one in which the references to the alleged links of Ishrat Jahan with Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) were removed. He also added that the second affidavit was vetted by the Attorney General of India and he did not draft it at his own level. Chidambaram said it seemed devious when it is being alleged that the files were missing.
