Hitting speeds above 100 miles per hour (160 kilometers), a suspect led police officers in a chase in Los Angeles in a stolen cruiser on Sunday night (March 13).
According to the Los Angeles NBC affiliate, the suspect stole the police car at around 2145 local time (0445 GMT) while officers were answering a call.
The suspect wove through traffic on several highways in the area, taking exits from the highways and speeding down neighborhood surface streets and through parking lots.
Officers were able to pin the cruiser in an alley and approach it with guns drawn. KNBC reported shots were fired.
