Coimbatore (TN), Mar 13 (ANI): On Sunday, K. Darshini, a 6-year- old girl from Coimbatur, set a new record in skating. Darshini won quarter skating Marathon event held today. Darshini, who had passion for skating since kindergarten, has now set a new record in under seven-year-old category. Managing Editor, Asian Book of Records, Manmohan Rawat said that this record will not only be entered in the India Book of Records but also in Asia Book of Records. He further added that she won this title by finishing a distance of 10.5 kms in 41.03 Min in the event titled "Quarter Skating Marathon".
