Iraqi Kurdish peshmerga forces are holding the front line against Islamic State militants in northern Iraq. VOA’s Sharon Behn and Ali Javanmardi visited the last peshmerga base in Makhmour before IS territory begins, and talked to the Kurdish troops about the upcoming battle for Mosul.
