Eighteen-year-old Liam Lotter of South Africa has come forward with a piece of debris he found in Mozambique which he believes could be a component of the missing Malaysia Airlines flight MH370.
A teenager has come forward with debris which may belong to the missing Malaysia Airlines plane.
Eighteen-year-old Liam Lötter of South Africa reportedly found it on the beach in December while vacationing with his family in Mozambique.
He said to NBC News in a phone interview, “The first thing that went through my mind was MH370. I had that feeling in my gut and I felt that I was meant to see it and meant to bring it back.”
Despite his family’s doubts, he took it home and stored it away until a story about a similar piece found in that area caused them to contact the authorities.
