Dharamshala: Exiled Tibetans protest on Uprising Day

Dharamshala, Mar 11 (ANI): To commemorate the 57th anniversary of Tibetan Uprising Day against illegal occupation by China, over 2,000 Tibetans-in-exile held a protest march in Dharamshala. The participants shouted slogans against the Chinese government. The march started form Mcleodganj to Kachahari Bazar in lower Dharamshala. On March 10, 1959, thousands of Tibetans from Amdo, Kham and U-Tsang, the three provinces of Tibet, risking their lives, rose up to protect the life of the Dalai Lama and to protest Chinese invasion of Tibet.
