Kidnapped by Islamic State group in Iraq, held captive for a year and repeatedly raped - Nihad Barakat Alawsi has endured extreme physical and psychological trauma all before her seventeenth birthday. Alongside the AMAR Foundation, she is raising awareness of the importance of psychological support for refugees, whose mental scars often run much deeper than any physical wound.
