New Delhi, Mar 10 (ANI): The much-awaited Real Estate Regulation and Development Bill, 2016 passed in the Rajya Sabha on Thursday, which is to be applicable retrospectively. As a relief, this bill seeks to protect interests of a large number of aspiring house buyers. The bill was passed by Union Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Venkaiah Naidu and was accepted by all the cabinet members. According to the bill, municipal bodies and government projects will not to be covered under the bill.
