New Delhi, Mar 10 (ANI): Congress leader Sanjay Nirupam on Thursday said use of the Indian Army for controversial World Culture festival is 'objectionable'. He further said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his followers love to show off in shadow of such events. Echoing similar sentiments, Communists Party of India (Marxist) leader D Raja said deployment of army for such events is questionable. He added that this government promotes such irregular events. Clarifying the issue of grant given to Sri Sri Ravi Shankar event, Minister of State for Culture independent charge, Mahesh Sharma, said that no grant has been given for organising the event.
