Egypt hails Paris initiative to revive Mideast peace talks

France will not 'automatically' recognise a Palestinian state if a Paris initiative to host an international conference to revive Israel-Palestinian peace talks fails, French Foreign Minister Jean-Marc Ayrault said Wednesday.
