New Delhi, Mar 09 (ANI): Art of Living founder Sri Sri Ravi Shankar on Wednesday was granted permission to hold the World Cultural Festival on the banks of the river Yamuna, but has also been asked to pay a fine for violating environmental laws. The National Green Tribunal (NGT) had earlier asked the concerned authorities if they had taken into consideration "the impact of the event on the river Yamuna's environment, its floodplains, and its biodiversity.Divulging details Ravishankar's advocate Saraswati said that the decision of NGT is welcoming, adding that they have definitely not harmed the environment.
