Punjab sets an example of peace and communal harmony

Ludhiana, Mar 09: Punjab is famous for its holy places, traditions and rituals. The Indian state, with its rich history, is dotted with famous religious sites that draw people of all faiths. A classical example of religious unity and harmony was witnessed in Mullanpur Dhaka town of Ludhiana city where people from different communities participated in the installation ceremony of Sai Baba’s temple. Along with special prayers and rituals, the religious scriptures of Guru Granth Sahib were also read. The spiritual idol of Sai Baba was given a divine bath by milk and honey. Flower petals were also showered on it after it was installed. A large number of people paid obeisance and sought his blessings. Sai Baba, also known as Shirdi Sai Baba, is a spiritual master who is worshipped by people around the world.
