Bareilly, Mar 09 (ANI): On the day when the world was commemorating International Women's Day, a woman hailing from Rampur district of Uttar Pradesh alleged that her modesty was outraged by the conductor and driver of the bus she was travelling in, while her 14-day-old baby died in jostling. The incident took place in the Shishgarh police station area in Bareilly on the intervening night of Saturday-Sunday, when the victim, a resident of Khajuria village in Rampur, boarded a private bus with her child at Shahi for Shishgarh on her way to Rampur. Bareilly Superintendent of Police R.K. Bhardwaj told ANI that following a complaint by the victim, police have registered a case against the driver and conductor of the bus. The body of the child has been sent for a post-mortem, while a medical examination of the woman was also conducted, said the SP, adding that both reports are awaited. He said police have launched a manhunt to arrest the accused.
