As protests against his derogatory and sexist comments against women during Savitri audio launch are gaining strength with each passing day, film star and Hindupur MLA Nandamuri Balakrishna has finally apologized to those who may have been hurt by his comments. A statement released by the TDP party this evening quoted Balayya saying that he has immense respect towards women and that he had no intentions to disrespect them. Balayya requested everyone not to see his comments in a sexist view and reiterated that he treats every woman as his own family member.
