Kochi, Mar 05 (ANI): The Kochi Corporation has started an initiative of fitting microchips in all pet dogs in the city as part of its campaign to introduce a licencing system for pet dogs. The programme was officially launched at the Kochi Corporation office by Mayor Saumini Jain and other municipal members. All the details of the pets, including their ownership, age, dates of vaccinations etc., will be available in the chip, which can be read using a hand-held scanner.
