July 14, 2014 was the opening day for Coney Islands newest roller coaster, The Thunderbolt. It sits on the same footprint that the old Thunderbolt coaster did, but its a lot thinner and faster... you get tilted back at the first climb, and youre staring straight up into the sky ... Its a wild ride from start to finish. And you can see the time, about a minute fifteen.. all for $10 !
