North Korea could be facing tougher sanctions as the United Nations Security Council sets to vote on a range of new sanctions on Wednesday.
For the first time, they include a ban on all military-use equipment, as well as the requirement for all shipments of goods to be inspected.
The BBC's John Sudworth reports from the Chinese city of Dandong, the border trading post that handles much of North Korea's trade with the outside world.
