This game is bad, BAD, baaaad! .and I dont mean in a its so bad, its funny way either!\r
-------\r
\r
Seriously, I dont mind if you skip out on this, its up to you if you want to see what is arguably one of the worst N64 games of all time. I just feel the need to archive these should one need a game to point to, yknow, for those many Worst. Game. Ever. research essays that are popular these days.\r
--------\r
\r
Choose your level of research:\r
\r
Kiddy Pool - \r
--------\r
Includes end game, game mechanic observations, and specials demonstrations\r
\r
The Deep End - (This Video)\r
---------------\r
Shows you how to get through story mode as quickly as possible.\r
\r
In Over Your Head - \r
------------\r
These TWO videos demonstrate where playing by the rules gets ya. Its long, its boring, and its stupid. .but maybe for some reason you want to see that?\r
\r
*******\r
\r
What can I say? They wanted to make a fighting game for The PowerPuff Girls on the Nintendo 64, and its one of the final games for the system. So. that means they shouldve been able to manufacture something great, right?\r
\r
WRONG.\r
\r
Take low level polygon models, with slapped on 2D textures, a grand total of THREE fighting moves, fighting arenas that operate each and entirely the same, and youve got a bonafide stinker!\r
\r
.and if the visuals and gameplay arent bad enough, they had to totally drop the ball when it comes to the sound, too! Check this: It has only one - ONE! - track for background music and its repeated ad nauseum.\r
\r
Oh, and youll be hearing a lot of: *Whack* Ow! *Whack* Ow! *Whack* Ow! *Whack* Ow!\r
(This game would bring a foley artist from a Kung Fu movie to tears!)\r
\r
Whats good about it? Uh. Um. I guess the Congratulations screen with the heart graphic in the background is cute. And. thats about it.\r
\r
Look, I dont really want to dwell on this any more. The videos are self evident, suffer if you will!\r
\r
NOTE: The Playstation version has MORE music, MORE voice clips, MORE animations, AND 3D movies instead of text-driven cutscenes. (Even this does not save the game.)
