New Delhi, Mar 03 (ANI): Expressing his views on the Ishrat Jahan murder case, Congress leader Manish Tewari said that the fundamental question is that why the higher echelons of the government are trying to subvert the court-monitored investigation into a fake encounter case. He added that what the NDA Government is trying to do is completely unprecedented, as they are using serving and retired officers to subvert the investigation carried out by the aegis of specialising investigation team and Gujarat High Court and then by Central Bureau of Investigation and all these investigations independently came out on the conclusion, describing the Ishrat Jahan encounter to be a fake encounter.
