Mars needs Moms blu-ray 3D unboxing review 4-disc Walt Disney Animation

2016-03-02 50

The film has been framed at its theatrical 2.40:1 and is presented in fantastic 1080p high def. Colors are bold and bright, and sharpness is perfection with tons of detail in these characters. Black levels are deeply, richly inky easily blending into the letterbox bars of the transfer. The audio is 7.1 DTS-HD, and the sounds effects have great depth and a nice surrounding presentation. There is even a nice bass on some effects that will leave your furniture rumbling. Mars needs Moms blu-ray is available as 4-disc blu-ray 3D, blu-ray, dvd and digital copy for $28 and also as a 2-disc blu-ray/dvd for $23.\r
This movie is from Robert Zemeckis, director of Back to the Future Trilogy as well as other CGI animated movies like Polar Express, Christmas Carol and Beowulf. I dont really much like these movies, for me these CGI animations are not perfect, it brings this weird dead-eyed look. The picture-in-picture extra shows the expensive and complicated process of making a movie in the motion-capture animation method that has fascinated producer Robert Zemeckis for the past several years. Mars Needs Moms reportedly cost $150 millions to make, opened with $6.9 millions at the domestic box office, and so far only made $70 millions. It bombed completely.\r
