MEDIA MONSTER - Parallel Worlds
First you collect the terms that could describe it, to bring this current “Zeitgeist” (might be translated with – ghost of our times) with it.
Knowing that it will remain almost impossible to list all terms that are imaginable. Because this spirit is in rapid change – almost fast as the speed of light, because it consists of images, data - 01 01 01- algorithms.
Therefore, it is an attempt, in the hope of many opposite / like-minded people who can contribute something more to uncover this phenomenon even more.
Can we break the spell of the spirit by revealing it’s name?
Media flood, Media Monster, overstimulation, smartphone addiction, smartphone zombie, flood of images, consumerism, multitasking capability is the inability of critical perception, time wasters, stress caused by constant availability and overwork, depression, inferiority – where it’s impossible to reach that idea of unreal perfection, be caught in virtual space, reality shift by media, depending on the Facebook Likes, Internet addiction, slave to attention, which will not be fulfilled, if you do not scream loud enough, putative community/solidarity - in the end, however, often results in justr loneliness.
Everyone knows it – makes us fell that we can hardly escape.
