According to wiki pixar Cars Toons is a series of short animated films from Disney Pixar Cars and Cars2. Its also called Maters tall tales. All of the Cars Toons in Maters Tall Tales follow the same tall tale formula: Mater tells a story of something he has done in the past. Each story includes Mater, Lightning McQueen, Mia and Tia and various pit crew forklifts. According to wiki pixar it all started at Flos V8 Cafe, when Sheriff pulls up 3 of the Tuner Cars, Boost, DJ and Wingo drift past. As Sheriff races after them, Mater says that he used to be an import. He then tells Lightning McQueen what happened. In the episode Tokyo Mater Mate offers to tow home a stranded Japanese car Ito-San, but ends up in Tokyo, Japan after hauling him all the way across the Pacific Ocean. He is then challenged to a race by the Drift King Kabuto with the winner being crowned King of All Drifters and the loser being stripped of all custom modifications to become a stock car. Lightning Dragon McQueen shows up to help Mater fend off an attack by Kabutos ninjas and then helps Mater catch up with Kabuto. \r
