Dismantling of Calais 'Jungle' Camp Begins

French authorities began dismantling the migrant and refugee camp in Calais known as the “Jungle” on Monday, February 29. Two bulldozers appeared on the camp’s periphery and a water cannon was deployed to the scene, according to the BBC.
