New Delhi, Feb 29 (ANI): It was of course a mad-max evening at the 88th Annual Academy Awards this year as 'Mad Max: Fury Road' bagged six Oscars out of seven categories it was nominated for. Though, the film could not bag the main awards, but still managed to take the limelight by winning the maximum number of awards at the prestigious Oscars ceremony. The award for Best Oscar Film Editing went to Margaret Sixel, whereas Jenny Beavan grabbed the Oscars for Best Costume Design for 'Mad Max: Fury Road.' Lesley Vanderwalt, Elka Wardega and Damian Martin took home the Oscar for showing their skills in the Make-up category. The award for Best Oscar Sound Editing was won by Mark Mangini and David White for the same film. Colin Gibson and Lisa Thompson won their respective Oscars for Production design and set decoration. 'Fury Road' is a film with a bunch of important underlying messages about autonomy, sexism, climate change, greed and more. The marvelous visual effect makes this movie make impossible things look easy.
