Bareilly, Feb 28 (ANI): The income of farmers could be doubled by 2022 if the state governments put their effort to it, said Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday. Lauding the measures taken by Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan for the development of agriculture, the Prime Minister said Madhya Pradesh was never an agricultural state, but due to the effort of the Chief Minister, it has prospered by leaps and bounds. The Prime Minister said the initiatives taken by the MP CM were commendable seeing that MP has been receiving the coveted 'Krishi Karman Award' for three years in a row. Modi also added that since the time BJP had come to power in the state, MP has been progressing.
