The women in my family love Adele and could not stop talking about her tour coming to the states and asked me to get tickets so we could all go. Somehow I got though on Ticketmaster and managed to get 3 tickets to one of her concerts at MSG. I kept it a secret and decided to tell two of my aunts they were going by giving them a few statistics of how difficult it was to get the tickets (according to an article published on Refinery29.com)…. According to Vulture, 10 million people tried to snag a ticket to one of the singers 50 upcoming shows. Thats 10 million people trying to snag 750,000 available tickets. In a memo, Ticketmaster noted that nearly two million people tried to purchase the 120,000 tickets available for her six shows at New Yorks MSG in September. To put that into perspective, NYC has roughly 8 million people living in it…one quarter of them may have been trying to see Adele.
