80-year-old couple plays Carl and Ellies theme (Married Life by Michael Giacchino) from Disney Pixars UP soundtrack, together on the piano :)\r
\r
SOME MORE FUN FACTS:\r
-The piano they are playing is an antique Civil War-era Steinway that my grandpa restored\r
-My grandparents had a very large family - 9 children, and Im one of a few dozen grandchildren\r
-My grandparents lived in Africa for a year and a half, in their 70s, while serving as missionaries for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints\r
-My grandparents are very involved in family history. My grandpa wrote an autobiography for our family and my grandma wrote a biography of her father, my great-grandpa.\r
-On Sunday night (the night before we released this video), we got the cousins/aunts/uncles together at my grandparents house and had our own Family Premiere and Grandma made cookies! :)\r
-My grandparents are age 83 and 84\r

STORY:\r
Remember that first 15 minutes from Pixars UP, of Carl and Ellies married life together? This cute 80-year-old couple plays the theme from “UP” as a piano duet, for their 60th anniversary. \r
\r
This couple is none other than the grandparents of pianist Jason Lyle Black – a local YouTube celebrity with over seven million views to his credit. Black wrote the arrangement for his grandparents, and the video was filmed with Celadora Studios. Grandpa and Grandma have played piano duets since they were first married.\r
\r
“My grandparents were very excited to be part of this video,” Black noted. “It was so fun to work with them on it. Ive loved their piano duets ever since I was a little kid, so this will be a family treasure for all of us.” \r
\r
The video is a homage to UP, featuring the tennis-ball cane, the “Adventure Book,” and even a “Squirrel!” reaction from the family dog. Most of all, the feeling of loyalty between Grandpa and Grandma is evident throughout the entire video. Black makes a brief cameo in the end of the video, clad in a “Wilderness Explorer” uniform, like Russell from UP.\r
\r
Black has a number of live concerts coming up along the Wasatch Front. For details regarding upcoming concerts, visit him on Facebook at facebook.com/jasonlyleblack, or on his website at .\r
