AUSTIN, TEXAS — Bart Simpsons arch nemesis will finally capture his prey, Simpsons producer Al Jean revealed to Entertainment Weekly on Saturday. \r

Youre going to see Sideshow Bob do something hes wanted to do for a very long time, Jean said during the ATX Festival panel in Austin, Texas. \r

Dr. Robert Underdunk Terwilliger — better known as Sideshow Bob — has been trying to kill Bart for 25 years. He first appeared in the 1990 episode, Krusty Gets Busted, which aired during the shows very first season. In the show, Sideshow Bob is a Republican and a wonderful singer. \r

The producers havent revealed exactly how theyre going to off Bart, but they did say it will be during one of their ever-popular Halloween episodes.\r

Jean told Entertainment Weekly Sideshow Bob wont know what to do with himself after his lifes mission is accomplished. \r
\r
Although Kelsey Grammers character will fulfill his lifes work, the producers said Bart will return to Springfield in post-Halloween episodes.\r
